How to Wash Bamboo Socks

Dry cleaning bamboo socks is unnecessary. It is absolutely fine to wash your bamboo socks in a washing machine, as long as you take the time to properly do so. The main thing to remember when washing is to keep the water at a cool to warm temperature (definitely no hotter than 140 degrees Fahrenheit/40 degrees Celsius). The only other thing you really need to know for caring for your bamboo socks is to wash with a detergent that is gentle and does not contain any bleach. Brighten up the colors of your bamboo socks by adding a small amount of baking soda in the washing machine before you put the socks in.
Drying in a snap
Air drying is a preferred method of drying bamboo socks, because it reduces the chance of shrinkage or any other harm. Using a drying machine to dry bamboo socks is alright if they are not kept in for a long period of time. If they become too hot in the dryer, the bamboo socks will shrink the sock plus also damage the bamboo fibers. Put the setting at a tumble-dry or any other mild setting to prevent this from happening. You can even iron bamboo socks. Put the iron on the lowest setting for both heat and steam to avoid harming the sock.
Hand-washing bamboo socks
