COMPOSITION Each bamboo chasen (whisk) is hand-curled, using the traditional Japanese method, improved over the ages. Aside from a decoratively woven strand for looks, they’re made completely of bamboo. Their construction was chemical-free, making it rustic and unique

FEATURES Each prong begins to widen after initial use and uncurls at the tip into its preferred state. The bamboo wood makes the whisk less brittle than other types of wood materials. Yet the smaller the prongs, the better for making smooth and frothy matcha tea. Soak the whisk for about 2 minutes before its first use. After using it each time, rinse with cold water and let it air dry
