Steps:
1. START YOUR FIRST LOOP: Create a loop and place yarn behind the wreath frame, leaving a 2–3-inch tail. Insert your crochet hook into the loop.
2. MAKE YOUR FIRST STITCH: Pull the yarn through the wreath frame and wrap it around the back of your crochet hook. Reach behind the wreath frame and wrap over the crochet hook again. Tuck the tail behind the two loops. Hold the working yarn in the hook’s groove, then pull the two loops over the crochet hook. Pull snug, and your first stitch is complete.
3. CROCHET AROUND THE WREATH: Continue working stitches around the wreath frame. Make sure to pull tight so the yarn covers the frame evenly without any gaps. Tip: Pull the back loop of your working yarn to tighten as you go.
4. FINISH THE FINAL STITCH: When you reach the end, remove the hook and pull the tail through your last loop. Thread the tail through the two loops from your first stitch, then feed it through the back loop of the wreath and trim any excess yarn.
